Lyne Ranson is a limited partner at Ranson Law in Fort Lauderdale, FL, serving in an advisory capacity while maintaining her position as owner of the largest and most prominent family law firm in West Virginia.
After earning her law degree in 1982, she spent seven years as a Federal Assistant U.S. Attorney before making history as the second female Circuit Court Judge in West Virginia. In 1992, she founded her own practice and has since dedicated four decades to family law and mediation. Lyne serves as Chair of the West Virginia State Bar family law committee and holds leadership positions in both the American Bar Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where she regularly presents on complex topics including alimony reform, marital property division, and business valuations.
Her extensive experience spans state and federal litigation, having represented clients throughout Florida’s major metropolitan areas including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa Bay. As Ryan’s mother and mentor, she continues to bring her decades of expertise to benefit Ranson & Ranson’s clients.
